Bhutan's official Fertility Festival is an annual two-day event held on May 23 and 24 at Chimi Lhakhang in the Punakha district. Celebrating the legacy of the 15th-century saint Lama Drukpa Kunley (the "Divine Madman"), it features the sacred Fertility Kora, phallus-lifting competitions, cultural performances, and blessings for family prosperity.
